Above and Below Tag Holders

Above and Below Tag Holders are made by sealing two pieces of plastic, usually PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) using heat or RF (radio frequency). The pieces of vinyl are sealed on three sides to form a two pocket holder that can be used to store job tickets, repair tickets, shop tickets, retail price tags, and print jobs or picture batches. The above and below holders are preferred for job and shop tickets as they are very clear, without significant distortion while also being mostly impermeable to moisture and protecting from dirt and can hold two seperate documents or a document and the product. This protects the documents and products from most environmental factors while having the hole in the top of the sleeves so that the tickets can be tied or secured to the job or can contain the pieces, parts, or photos.Tag holders come in a variety of sizes, colors, and gauges(thicknesses), but in general, the sleeves are made in 7.5 mil to 10 mil clear plastic. If you are going to be using the tag holders in the manufacturing environment, we recommend that you add the optional brass eyelets to strengthen the holder.

For archival, photographic, and collecting purposes, we recommend the acid-free, plastic sleeves and envelopes so that your items will not be damaged. Please specify these when you order so that we can make sure that you get the material that is best for your application.

Another common usage for tag holders, is to keep instructions, product id cards or promotional materials with sale items. By using the tag tied to the product, you can ensure that the customer will have the materials necessary to use or assemble the product after they have left the sales floor.
